Affise Achieves SOC 2 Type II Compliance
Affise has successfully completed the SOC 2 Type II audit to comply with the Saas industry's most stringent standards. Coupled with the ePrivacyseal obtained in 2020, SOC 2 certification demonstrates Affise's dedication to protecting user data and ensuring transparency and reliability.
SOC 2 is an auditing procedure based on the standards developed by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA). SOC 2 implies assessing the company’s compliance to the “trust service principles” — security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy of a system.
By completing SOC 2 Type II certification, Affise has confirmed its business process, information technology, and risk management controls compliance to the industry’s most high standards. This certification has also improved the platform, services, and the organization’s security.
For customers, SOC 2 certification is evidence of Affise's safety, transparency, and reliability.
To pass the certification for SOC 2 Type II, Affise got its internal controls, policies, and processes thoroughly reviewed by a third-party audition organization in the duration of 11 months. The audit also included a review of risk management processes and IT infrastructure, software development life cycle, change management, logical security, network security, physical & environmental security, and computer operations.
In 2020, Affise obtained ePrivacyseal, which demonstrates the company’s compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Thus, Affise ensures confidentiality and safety of customer data and security from unauthorized access, processing, and disclosure.
